The 2025 Outback retains the same trim level lineup as the 2024 model, including the base, Premium, Onyx Edition, Limited, Touring, Onyx Edition XT, Wilderness, Limited XT, and Touring XT. The base powertrain remains unchanged—a 182-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. Notably, for 2025, the more powerful engine option—a 260-horsepower, turbocharged 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine—is now available for the Limited trim and remains standard on the Wilderness and XT trims. Both engines are paired with a CVT and come standard with all-wheel drive.
